ACHIEVEMENTS

Arthritis Foundation Investigator Award 1990

FIELDS OF INVESTIGATION

I have been investigating how HLA-DR genes predispose to rheumatoid arthritis since 1984. We finally came up with the « hapten carrier » model, published in 2020. This model predicts that rheumatoid arthritis could be cured/prevented by PAD tolerization.
